Sweet Home Alabama
The Notebook
Believe it or not, The Notebook is one of my favorite movies even if I haven't see the actual movie because people kept tellin' me that this was the great Romantic Movie that they saw. I was just kinda' go with the flow and startin' to like it even if it sounded weird because I haven't seen the movie. But yasterdai, I had the chance to watch the full movie and damn it's really awesome. It really touched me how wonderful things love can make you do and how wonderful the story would become if it's about love. I am not going to say about the movie well I guess everyone knows already how great this movie was. If anyone is planning to watch this the second time, make sure you got a box of Kleenex next to you.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
This movie is not just for kids, but also entertaining for those who are kids at heart. Very Hilarious! The adventure begun when Sid tried to adopt three baby dinosaurs and acted like their own mother, that leads him adopted to a strange underground world where most extinct dinosaurs live. The whole herd went down under to try to rescue Sid even the pregnant Ellie, wife of Manny, which leaves Manny anxious because he want everything to be perfect when his child arrives. Basta you watch na lang the movie because I am very sleepy na to type in anything. Ciao! I will buy a DVD version of this and will it to my collection.

Drag Me To Hell
I will consider 'Drag me to hell' a not so horrifying movie. Although, it gave me frights because of the images of the old lady appearing unexpectedly, but the movie was just okay. Well, this movie is about a loan officer named Christine Brown, who wished to be promoted as an assistant manager, forced to evict an old gypsy woman named Mrs. Ganush from her home, just to impress her boss to demonstrate to him that she can make tough decisions when she needs to. She did really impress her boss but found her herself a recipient of a supernatural curse later after she embarrass Mrs. Ganush in public while pleading for Christine to grant her an extension because she is suffering from economic problems due to an illness. Christine denied her request. That night, Christine is attacked in her car by Mrs. Ganush and she managed to remove a button from her jacket and uses it to place a curse on Christine and then she disappeared. That night, Christine is attacked by a dark spirit which appears as a silhouetted of a goat's head that leave her with minor injuries. She then had a violent nosebleed while at work he next day. She fled from her work and then proceeded to Mrs. Ganush house, and then she learned that Mrs. Ganush already died. While at the wake of Mrs. Ganush, the grand daughter told Christine that she deserve whatever is coming after her. Frightened, she consulted a fortune teller to find out what's happening to her. Rham, the fortune teller, tell her that spirit that is haunting her is actually a demon called the Lamia, and that she will be tormented for 3 days before she will be dragged to hell to burn for eternity. Horrified by this revelation, she tried all the possible way to get rid of the curse, she even killed her cat and even paid a woman who had an encounter with the Lamia 40 years ago and is dying to face the Lamia again to banish him. They did banish the demon but the curse still remains. The demon did manage to drag Christine to hell. Lesson? Don't be rude to an old woman, especially if she is a gypsy.

IP Man
This movie will truly serve as an inspiration to those who saw this movie. The movie is about IP Man, the master of Bruce Lee, tells how he gained the dignity and freed the people of China from Japanese empire with the use of his martial arts skills. This is not just about skills and arts and how good he was. It is about what IP Man as a person, his discipline and principles. How it became an instrument on their way to freedom and liberty. During his time, his family was very wealthy and respected and also he was known to be the best Master of Kung Fu or Martial Arts in their town. He was famous and made a lot of friends. At the same time, he was acting as a firm person and dignified. Not until Japanese conquered China and enslave them (just like what they did to my lovable and beautiful country, Philippines). Took away their houses and made IP Man's house as the Japanese Headquarter. IP Man continued to live as a low profile citizen, working his arse to feed his family. They had pawn everything that was worth pawning to survive and lived in a slum. The Japanese general who was handling them was a fan of martial artists that is why he was choosen to work for him. He would call any from the workers every now and then to have a fight his Japanese fighters, if they win they will get a reward, one sack of rice. One sack of rice in exchange of their lives. How cruel can they get? Going back, IP Man was never interested in fighting because what really matters to him was his family, not until his friends and family are slowly being beaten and hurt by these invaders. He decided to join and started to fight when his friends started dying and tested. His first fight was with 10 Japanese fighters ( I think they are into Taekwondo) in revenge of his friend's death who diead in front of him and he witnessed with his own eyes, in aiming to get more sacks of rice instead of just one, one soldier shoot him after he was defeated (kawawa talaga promise!), and the general was really impressed with him and wanted him to come back for another fight. After witnessing his skills, the general was really impressed and wanted IP Man to teach his people [Japanese ones] those skills so that he [general] can spare them their lives. Being the most dignified person ever, he refused and that made the general mad and requested for a duel. You should see his skills in the actual movie because I can't really describe it, all I can say is 'it was very awesome'. Of course, the general was defeated and the Chinese people gained their dignity and freedom at some point. After the China was freed from Japanese Empire [of course, because they [Japan] can not have what does not belong to them], IP Man decided to finally built a school where Bruce Lee became one of this disciples. Really, really a great movie that inspires me to move on with my Taekwondo churva, A must SEE. Go ahead people. buy your ticket!!!!!!!!!!NOW!!!!!!!!!

Terminator Salvation
Not bad. Four stars. I would say that the story and the plot was just very short. Someone who haven't seen the previous movies relating to Terminator will not really appreciate this movie. I enjoyed watching the movie more because Chubby's sistah went to watch the it with us although they already watched in Thailand. Anyway, going back to movie's review, not so breath-taking scenes but it is just OKAY. I still see Christian Bale as Batman and not Conner. :) The movie took place at the year 2018 when SkyNet's creation, the murderer who offered himself to Science, already come into his senses but he doesn't have any idea what went wrong. Basically he was transformed to be a machine and designed to kill Connr but for some reason he just can't. In fact, he offered his heart to Connr because he was dying after he got stubbed at the back.
